To the Editor:

I see from the June 3 Tryon Daily Bulletin that the Town of Tryon has a $150,000 shortfall primarily due to water plant upgrades and that the town plans to raise Tryons water rates to help cover that shortfall.

If that is a fact: Why does the town have the Nina Simone Park sprinklers going full blast in the middle of Wednesdays huge rainstorm?
