&bsp;Dale Musselwhite, chairman of the 2010 Blue Ridge BBQ and Music Festival, said this year’s volunteer work force is still way short of the festival’s annual manpower needs.
“We only had 40 volunteers signed up as of Wednesday night,” Musselwhite said. “We need 500.”
Musselwhite said typically volunteers begin signing up in the last weeks, for various jobs such as beverage selling, ticket selling and ticket taking and finance. Jobs typically involve half day shifts and soem finance jobs require brief training.
