Chris Tinkler, director of the Youth Summer Production (ages 13 to 20), says he is excited to announce the cast list for the upcoming show, Elton John and Tim Rices Aida.

This contemporary musical is based on Verdis opera of the same name, and the idea came from a childrens storybook version. Disney acquired the rights for an animated feature film which never materialized, but evolved instead into the stage production. Debuting on Broadway in 2000, it won many prestigious awards, including Tonys for best original music score, best scenic design and best costume design.
