Clyde Everette Cagle Jr., 43, of Columbus, died Sunday, May 2, 2010 at Spartanburg Regional Hospital.

Born in Brevard, N.C., he was the son of Clyde Everette Cagle Sr. and Mary Johnson Cagle of East Flat Rock. &bsp;

He graduated from Brevard High School and attended the University of North Carolina at Asheville. He had been employed by Michelin Tire Corporation in Greenville, S.C., since 1990 as information technologies/IS project quality manager.&bsp; He was a member of Silver Creek Baptist Church in Mill Spring.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by his children, Aaron Gage Cagle of Columbus; Tara Nicole Cagle and Nathan William Cagle, both of Louisiana; sister, Phyllis Cagle Pack and husband, Lee R. Pack Jr., of Hendersonville; brother, Carroll Cagle and wife, Leslie, of Moore, S.C.; and several nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, May 5, 2010 in the Kirby Memorial Chapel of Shuler Funeral Home, with the Revs. Chris Osborne and Eddie Conard officiating. Burial will follow at Pisgah Gardens in Brevard. The family will receive friends from 7 9 p.m. Tuesday, May 4, 2010 at Shuler Funeral Home.
