To the Editor:

Recently I noticed a man standing on the street corner with a sign disparaging a local auto repair shop. I cannot let this pass without comment.

I have been in Polk County for about 10 years. and I have used the services of this repair shop exclusively and often.

My wife and I tend to keep our vehicles for a long time (230,000 Mi. on one and 130,000 on the other) as you can see we have reason to access a good and reputable repair shop.

In every instance we have been notified of the diagnosis of our problem and the cost to repair whatever is necessary, its our decision.

I have always found said shop personnel to be honest and above board in all respects, I realize they cant please all the people all the time, but to say they would cheat anyone, I say absolutely not. No way, it would not happen.
