Our Beloved Mother, Janette W. Tyler, 83 years old of Tryon, N.C., passed away peacefully March 5, 2010 at her home.

She was born in Mystic, Conn., to Norman and Elizabeth Allen Wilcox.

Janette had worked as a Licensed Practical Nurse for most of her life.

Janette and longtime love of 63 years, husband Donald, retired in the Western North Carolina Foothills.

Dons masterful wood carvings and Janettes love of quilting flourished family and friends across the country.

Their lives enriched everyone with their countless pieces of incredible one-of-a-kind handmade treasures.

Janette is survived by her sons, Robert J. Tyler, wife Jean, Richard W. Tyler, wife Kim and daughter Ruth A. Tyler.

She is also survived by five grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.

Our Mother will be greatly missed for her incredible talents, compassion to others, her humor and love of life.

Mother and Father will rest together in the Veterans Cemetery in Jacksonville, Mo.
