House of Flags unveils raffle prize

It was a beautiful day in Columbus for friends of the House of Flags Museum to gather to observe the museums fundraising raffle Grand Prize being unveiled.&bsp; Local officials and other folks from Columbus and nearby communities were in attendance at the museums Kick-Off ceremony held to formally commence the fundraiser.
The House of Flags Museum is conducting a raffle to help raise funds to assist in the renovation and move into the old fire station in downtown Columbus. Polk County Commissioners recently approved the museums request to begin work.
The Grand Prize of the raffle is a 2010 Harley-Davidson Fat Boy motorcycle. The winner may, if desired, accept $10,000 cash in lieu of the motorcycle.&bsp; The second prize is $500 and the third prize is $250. Only 2,000 tickets will be sold. Brisk sales of the tickets were reported by museum officials even before the raffle got underway formally.
