Fred and Kathleen did much traveling and spent three months in Florida each year. They kept a fishing boat in Canada and they enjoyed getting away for fishing breaks. In 1980 Kathleen and Fred moved to Columbus and she lived there until Fred died in 2005 and then moved to Greenville, S.C., to be with her youngest girl. While in North Carolina, Kathleen sewed for a great many years for the Peppermint Shoppe, a non-profit organization that helped the indigent. She was a member of the Red Fox Country Club, and was an avid bridge player, gardener, and she took courses in Ohio and South Carolina.

She is predeceased by brother Kenneth and sister Jo Ann. She will be remembered as a loving wife and mother to her two girls, Judy (Larry) and Jody (Eddie), and devoted Mama Mama to her grandson Andrew. Besides her girls, she loved her nieces, Lynn Patmore and Wendy Waldruff and her nephew, Tracy Waldruff.

She liked sewing, crocheting, bridge and cooking and she most enjoyed raising two fine girls and watching her grandson Andrew grow into a fine young man. She was most proud of Judy, Jody and Andrew, and of being married to her loving husband Fred for 66 years. Mama Mama, you will be dearly missed.

A private memorial service will be held at a later date and time.

The family requests that flowers be omitted and memorials be made to the charity of ones choice.
