Candy Halford Stanfield, 40, of Columbus died March 11, 2010. She was the daughter of Edward W. and Nellie Brown Halford of Columbus and widow of Donald Stanfield.
She was a mother and a homemaker.
In addition to her parents, she is survived by a son, Chandler Stanfield of the home; two daughters Kensley and Jodi Stanfield, both of the home; two brothers, Wayne Halford and Calvin Halford, both of Columbus; two sisters, Sandra Reid (Kenneth) of Columbus and Kim Searcy (Ricky) of Mill Spring; a sister in law, Darlene Forrester of Campobello; and nieces and nephews, Travis Reid (Sarah), Amanda Ruff, Josh Halford (Amber), Christopher Halford, Samantha Searcy, Skylar Searcy and Leigh Anne Fowler.
Funeral services were held Monday, March 15 at Grace Baptist Church, conducted by Dr. J.B. Godfrey, Pastor Stephen Wise, Pastor Ron Caple, Pastor Ken Mason. Burial was in Polk Memorial Gardens.
