To the Editor:

Congratulations to the Town of Tryon and the Nina Simone Organization for the beautiful sculpture of Nina. It has great dignity and an inspiring ambience.

Best of all, it is in a location where both blacks and whites can enjoy it. What few towns three times our size has such a work of art for both visitors as well as the residents of the community.
