To the Editor:

I want to publicly express my appreciation to all the Tryon volunteer firemen that came to my rescue.

I was stranded in my car on Hogback Mountain Road Feb. 12. due to the snow and ice.

They were so comforting and after getting me out they drove me home to be sure I got there safely. I did not get their names but I cant thank them enough.
