To the Editor:

I have just learned that the Auto Restoration Program at Blue Ridge Community College has been terminated.

This is a real shame.

Two auto clubs I belong to have supported the program and in turn, derived much value from the program.

Stan Ducker has headed a great program. His students do outstanding work.

The field of auto restoration needs trained technicians. Graduates have no trouble finding employment.

I would like to see the college administration rethink this unwise decision.
