Inez H. Brannon

Inez Hall Brannon, 90, of 385 Turner Road died February 15, 2010. A native of Michigan, she was the daughter of the late Edward and Irene John Hall. She retired from BiLo in Landrum after 30 years, where she had worked as cashier and bookkeeper. She had worked as a riveter on fighter planes during WWII in Michigan. Her hobbies were gardening and cooking and she was an avid bird lover. Her greatest love was her great grandchildren.
She is survived by a son, Dennis Brannon and wife Carmen of Anderson, S.C.; a daughter, Diane Walker and husband Ron of Summerfield, N.C.; two step sons, Norm Brannon and wife Marian of Tryon and Troy Brannon and Judy Collins of Green Creek; seven grandchildren, Lynn Bridges and husband Rick, Ronald Smith, April Smith and Keith Carter, Susan Rippy and husband Chris, Alan Brannon and wife Sarah, Laurie Brannon and Lindsay Walker; and seven great grandchildren.
She was predeceased by a daughter, Norma Brannon Shehan and a step son, Wally Brannon.
The family will receive friends from 2-3 p.m. Wednesday at Petty Funeral Home. Graveside services will be held at 3:30 p.m. Wednesday at Polk Memorial Gardens, Columbus.
The family will be at the home.
