Harold Green, 84, of 5207 Hwy. 14 died February 15, 2010 at his home. He was the son of the late James and Myrtle Willard Green and husband of Joann Crain Green. He was a member of Fellowship Baptist Church and was an auto mechanic. He also worked in textiles.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by two sons, Glenn Green and Douglas Green, and daughter in law Marilyn Horton Green, all of Landrum; a daughter, Trisha Barnes of Landrum; four grandchildren, Bradley Barnes, Callie Barnes, Carrie Barnes and Colby Green.
The family will receive friends from 5-8 p.m. Wednesday, February 17, 2010 at Petty Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, February 18, 2010 at Petty Funeral Chapel, conducted by Rev. Jeremy McCarver, Rev. Tony Wofford and Rev. Norman Bayne. Burial will be in Motlow Creek Baptist Church Cemetery.
The family is at the home.
