David Scott Doubek, 40, passed away at his parents home the evening of January 27,2010, surrounded by his loving family.
Son of David and Sharon Doubek, and beloved brother to his sister Trayce Doubek. David grew up in Ohio and Illinois. He spent his adult years in Savannah, Georgia, where he worked for Savannah Foods as retail marketing/sales account manager. He established his real estate business in Savannah and became a huge supporter of the Savannah Greyhound Rescue Group. After a brief time in Seattle, Washington, he returned home to Greenville, S.C. David was a very passionate and compassionate individual. Even to the end he lived his life with integrity, honesty and vigor. He was a dedicated Christian and a member of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovahs Witnesses in Simpsonville, S.C.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, February 6, 2010, 2 p.m. at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovahs Witnesses, 1709 Anderson Ridge Road, Simpsonville, S.C. Visitation and celebration of life with the family will be conducted at the Kindom Hall after the memorial service. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations in David Scott Doubeks name to any of the following: VistaCare Hospice, Greenville, S.C.; Haiti Relief Fund Jehovahs Witness group; Cancer Center of the Carolinas, Greenville, S.C.
