John Robert “Jack” Wilson, 58, of 503 Brookwood Drive died January 13, 2010. He was retired from Valero Oil and served in the U.S. Navy.
He is survived by his wife, Althea M. Wilson; a son, Jack Wilson of Michigan; three daughters, Kelly Freeman and Julie Wilson, both of Michigan and Sierra Mauldin of Landrum; three sisters, Kay Hyatt of North Carolina, Cindy Schloss of Michigan and Mickie Andropont of New Jersey, and two grandchildren.
A memorial service was held Saturday, Jan. 16 at Landrum First Baptist Church, conducted by Rev. Mark Bishop.
