The Polk County Sheriff’s Office is currently searching for a man suspected of breaking and entering a home in the Lake Adger area early Wednesday afternoon. A resident called 911 to report the crime while it was taking place and briefly pursued the suspect until the Polk County Sheriff’s Office got behind the suspect on Garrett Road. The suspect then turned west on Silver Creek Road before eventually turning into the Bright’s Creek development. The sheriff’s office maintained close pursuit&bsp;during the high speed chase until the suspect apparently exited the vehicle and went on foot. The sheriff’s office has gained the support of several area agencies, using the help of helicopters and blood hounds to track the suspect.
