Picasso said: Are we to paint what’s on the face, what’s inside the face, or what’s behind it? To answer his own question Picasso explored all aspects of art, experimented with new forms and techniques, and lead the art world into a new era.

As the Tryon Fine Arts Center continues its Explore the Arts series, Pat Cole-Ferullo will Explore Picassos World on Thursday, January 28 in the TFAC Board Room&bsp; from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Ferullo will give an anecdotal view of Picasso, his life and work as well as present a few surprises.

Ferullos own abstract art captures the spiritual connections of the natural world. Her workshops and classes attract both amateurs and professionals.&bsp; Ferullo has a degree in fine art and commercial art from Florida State University, has studied with nationally recognized artists, has published in national magazines, and currently has a joint exhibit with her husband, Dom Ferullo, at the Chapman Center in Spartanburg.
