The Tryon Painters and Sculptors artists who help students reach their creative goals will be showing the results of their own creative journeys in the upcoming Instructors Show at the Tryon Painters and Sculptors Gallery 1 at the Tryon Fine Arts Center in Tryon.

The teachers, Rich Nelson, Pat Cole-Ferullo, Dom Ferullo, Bill Ryan, Mike McCarthy, Dick Neff and Harris Fortier, will be on hand at the opening reception on Sunday, January 17 from 5 to 7 p.m. to share their creative images and encourage would-be students to join TPS and follow their creative muse. From paintings, collages and pastels to three-dimensional sculptural pieces, organizers say the show is sure to please the eye and excite the imagination.

The Instructors Show is open from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. weekdays until February 13 at Tryon Fine Arts Center, 34 Melrose Avenue, Tryon. For more information on upcoming events visit the TPS website at tryonpaintersandsculptors.com.
