To the Editor:

I am shocked at the news that the ever popular BBQ Festival has been cancelled. I have attended the BBQ Festival for several years both as an attendee and as a volunteer. I have seen this ever popular festival grow, I have witnessed people of all ages and families enjoy the various attractions at the festival. For several years Ive brought a group of dancers from Asheville down to enjoy the music that Peter (Eisenbrown) has brought to this wonderful festival.

What are the opportunities for feedback, discussion and reconsideration? The BBQ Festival is a wonderful asset to the community and the region. I hope you will consider this devastating decision.
