To the Editor:

I believe its a mistake to cancel the BBQ festival. I believe it was an ill advised and short sighted decision by the Foothills chamber to cancel the event, without considering other alternatives, the impact on the community and&bsp; the wishes of the general public.

I, for one, would commit my energy and resources to seeing it continued, and call on the chamber to meet as soon as possible to reconsider its decision.
