Mr. and Mrs. Johnny Ray Simons of Milledgeville, Ga. are proud to announce the engagement of their daughter, Jamie Rae Simons of Atlanta, to Gary Keith Caraway, Jr. of Kennesaw, Ga. Gary is the son of Mrs. Deb Williamson (Robert) of Columbus and Mr. Gary Keith Caraway, Sr. of Charlotte, N.C.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Jck Hooks and Mr. and Mrs. Ray Simons, all of Milledeville.

She is a 2002 graduate of John Milledge Academy in Milledgeville and a 2007 graduate of Valdosta State University with a Masters of Education in communication disorders. She is currently employed with Cobb Pediatric Therapy Services, Inc. in Atlanta.

The groom is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Wayne Wilson, Jr. of Asheville, N.C. and the late Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Reece Caraway of West Jefferson, N.C.

He is a 2000 graduate of Brookwood High School in Snellville, Ga. and a 2006 graduate of the University of Georgia with a Bachelors Degree in landscape architecture. He is currently employed with MACTEC Engineering & Consulting, Inc., Kennesaw, Ga.

The wedding is planned for January 16 at The Foundry Park Inn in Athens, Ga.
