To the Editor:

I wonder if other residents of the Thermal Belt ever stop to think how lucky we are to have so many rich cultural activities available to us. I attended the Community Chorus concert recently and was amazed by the wonderful music they performed. Without criticizing any previous concerts, I cannot remember when I have heard better. The chorus and the music selections were truly outstanding. Those who missed it should be sure to attend the next one in April.

However, it is not just the Community Chorus that is so good. There are so many other activities, such as the Tryon Little Theater, the concerts and plays at the Fine Arts Center, the many arts and crafts shows and activities, to name a few. We should all be proud to call this area home, and we need to all participate and support these activities.&bsp; There are not many areas the size of ours that can boast of so many wonderful cultural outlets.

Community Chorus, you were fantastic.
