David and Tamera Van Noord of Blossom, Texas, announce the engagement of their daughter Mary Anne to Tanner Norman Nelon, son of Norman and Terressa Nelon of Sunny View.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Gerritt and Nancy Van Noord of Blossom, Texas, and Maxie Townsend and the late John Townsend of Florida.

The groom is the grandson of the late Ernest and Iona Nelon of Sunny View and Grady and Aileen Jackson of Sunny View.

The couple will be married Saturday, January 2, at Novice Baptist Church in Texas.
