Preschoolers of Mrs. Norma, Mrs. Gingi and Mrs. Jessica at Forbes Preschool Education Center recently enjoyed a field trip to the Green Creek Life Center, home of the Meeting Place II and the Polk County Senior Center.

They met Santa and Mrs. Claus, had a snack with the seniors and enjoyed opening presents.

Ms. Brenda Fowler, who is the manager of the Senior Center and a van driver for some of the preschoolers, coordinated the visit with Santa.

Our kids really enjoyed it and we thank everyone who made it possible. We send a special thanks to Santa and Mrs. Claus. say the teachers. Santas special elves that helped make the visit successful are: Betty Ann Foster, Taylor Martines, Gloria Wells, Kim Hopkins and Janice Fagan.

Seniors who donated to the visit are: Walker ODuggen, Arthur Bourbeau, and Rita Owens. And of course, there were many special efforts and lots of hard work by Santa and Mrs. Claus.
