Local photographer and artist, Elaine Pearsons, recently won the Honorable Mention award in the 2009 Shaker Workshop Photo Contest. The purpose of the annual competition is to illustrate the best aspects of Shaker design and to demonstrate the successful use of Shaker furniture and accessories in everyday life. The contest is open to any and all photographers across the country.
