Local artists in Saluda Stroll exhibit

As part of the festivities of the Saluda Hometown Christmas Stroll this Friday, a collection of artists and craftspeople will be displaying paintings, pottery, jewelry, artistic wearables, metal work and more at the Saluda Inn and Wine Cellar beginning at 6 p.m.
Beverly Pickard, Jim Shackelford, Ann Cameron McDonald and others will offer a wide range of paintings and prints.
Susie Welsh, David Parris and Merci Weitzen are some of the potters who will be showing many styles of functional and artistic pieces. Kelly Sparks and Alex Trumble will be there with fun and functional wearables and metal work.
Writers Polly McCanless Kent and William H. Russell will be signing their books. Julie Pace, Nancy Flemming and Linda Marie will be showing handmade jewelry.
Guitarists Ellen Trnka and Marc Yaxley will be featured musicians.
The public is encouraged to celebrate an evening of local art in a holiday atmosphere while helping to support the artist community and local commerce.
