Habitat receives grant for trailer to help build houses

With a grant from the unrestricted fund of the Polk County Community Foundation, Thermal Belt Habitat for Humanity was able to purchase a 7 by 16 trailer with a ramp and three racks on the top. The trailer will be used for storing and securing the walkboards and scaffolding used to build houses for Habitat partners in our community. The trailer will also make moving the items to various locations of houses under construction much easier. Clark Benson, Vice-chair of the PCCF Board of Directors, joined Habitat Board members Lynn Montgomery, Manfred Walter, and Chuck Davis in showing off the new trailer. (photo submitted)
