Dancers dominate at Dancexplosion

Recently dancers from Dance Dynamics dominated the dance competition in Greenville, S.C.
Chosen to represent the Southeast at Nationals for the Junior Extreme Dance Team was Mary Elizabeth Prince and chosen for the Senior Extreme Dance Team was Sarah Cash and Alyssa Fincher. These students were chosen based on their solo performances, group performances and their entertainment ability.
Winning Platinum awards were Lindy Wicklund (clogging solo), Mary Elizabeth Prince (tap solo), Sarah Cash (tap solo), Alyssa Fincher (tap solo), and Casey Culbreth and Alyssa Fincher (tap duet).
Prince won 7th overall for the Junior Soloist. Cash was 6th overall in the Teen Solo Division. In the Senior Solo Division, Fincher was 10th overall and the duo of Culbreth and Fincher were 5th overall.
Winning Extreme Gold were Madison Yellen (clogging solo), Graci Moser (tap and musical theatre), and Keileigh McMurray (tap solo). Yellen won 3rd overall for the Petite Novice solos and Moser won 2nd Overall in the Junior Novice Division for her musical theatre routine Ease On Down the Road.
Winning a Gold Medal was Nora Contreras for her tap routine, Conga.
The trio consisting of Samantha Haase, Keileigh McMurray, and Ciara Sikes won Extreme Gold in the tap category for their routine, Dancing Queen and also their acro/jazz routine Nothings Gonna Stop Us.
Groups winning Extreme Gold were the Junior Tap Group and the Senior Tap Groups. The Junior Tap Group consists of Nora Contreras, Logan Wright, Brooke Stott, Emma Hunter, Madison Whitener, and Graci Moser.
The Senior Tap Groups consist of Sarah Cash, Lauren Cabaniss, Alyssa Fincher, Krystle Fortenberry, Mallori Inman, Cassidy Culbreth, Megan Stone, Alyiha Mullins, Lindy Wicklund, and Mary Elizabeth Prince.
