Community Thanksgiving services set for Sunday in Tryon, Landrum

Congregational Church in Tryon
The Thermal Belt Ministerial Association invites everyone to the annual Community Thanksgiving Service to be held this year at the Congregational Church, 210 Melrose Avenue, Tryon.
The service will be Sunday, November 22 at 7 p.m. This year the Rev. Dr. Dent C. Davis, III, pastor of Tryon Presbyterian Church will bring the message.
Clergy from the Congregational Church, Holy Cross Episcopal Church, Good Shepherd Episcopal Church, Tryon United Methodist Church, Seventh-day Adventist Church, Tryon First Baptist Church and the chaplain from Hospice of the Carolina Foothills will be participating.
A community choir is being planned and choir members from churches are invited to participate. A rehearsal will be held on Sunday, November 22 at 6 p.m. at the Congregational Church. Bring your own choir robe.
Thermal Belt Outreach continues to help all kinds of needs in Polk County. It is the hope of Thermal Belt Ministerial Association that the entire community will help provide funds for this outreach in our county. The evening offering will be given to Thermal Belt Outreach.
Landrum United Methodist Church
Nine area churches will join in a community Thanksgiving service Sunday, Nov. 22 at 7 p.m. at the Landrum United Methodist Church on Hwy. 176 in Landrum.
The following churches will be participating: Jacksons Grove UMC, Landrum Springs Baptist Church, New Holland Temple FBH Church, Greater New Hope Church, Landrum UMC, Star of Bethel, St. Lukes Baptist, Redeemed International Church, Christ Community Church.
Participants are asked to bring food for donation to Operation Hope Ministry.
