To the Editor:

Every day my mother looked forward to receiving and reading The Tryon Daily Bulletin. Throughout the years, she often expressed her views in the editorial. I think it is appropriate to share the following note she left:

Thanks and glory be to God for giving me such lovely children and grandchildren and His help bringing them up. Thanks for former pastors, church school teachers, choir directors and others in the church who have supported and helped to increase my faith. Thanks for a husband, family and friends for putting up with me in my contrariness which I was often unable to overcome.
