The members of Coopers Gap Baptist Church announce that they have called Rev. David Turner, from Kings Mountain, N.C. as their pastor. Preacher David and his wife Tracy have three children, one of whom is a student at Polk County High.

He is a graduate of Fruitland Baptist Bible Institute and New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary. His 20+ year pastoral experience covers churches in North Carolina and Louisiana, including an evangelist/revival ministry.

Preacher David and the members invite everyone, especially those without a church, to come and join them at worship services and Christian activities.

The church is located at 730 Coopers Gap Road in Mill Spring.
