The Red Fox Mens Golf Association closed its 2008-09 season last Wednesday with a early breakfast, followed by the traditional year-end Wing-Ding event.
Two teams tied for 1st place, posting a 75: Rusty Van Voorhis, Fred Ellis and Bud Carson; Pete Crandall, Roger Newman and Clyde Kaericher.
While the season is officially closed, play continues throughout the months ahead, weather permitting. The same bunch of players meets every Wednesday and Friday mornings at 9 a.m. Call the Pro Shop with any questions at 828-894-8251.
