Charges against Polk teacher Constance dismissed; Williams pleads guilty

Karen Williams,&bsp;who lives at the same address with Constance in Tryon, was arrested at the same time on the same charges. &bsp; On Tuesday, Williams, 57, pleaded guilty in Polk County court to possession of drug paraphernalia and simple possession of schedule VI controlled substance,&bsp;and authorities agreed to drop the charges against Constance. Williams was sentenced to 45 days in jail with the sentence suspended on the condition that she complete one year unsupervised probation, and pay a $100 fine and court costs. &bsp; The Polk County Sheriff&39;s office had reported that the two women were arrested following the interception of a mail delivery&bsp;from California to&bsp;Spartanburg County that contained a package with two ounces of hashish addressed to Williams at the women&39;s address in Tryon. &bsp; According to the sheriff&39;s office report, Constance was at the home when the package was delivered and signed for it, but she was not aware of what was in the package. &bsp;
