Pooches with panache at Any &All Dog Show Sunday

If you&squo;re a canine looking for a good time, bring your family to the best thing that ever happened to dogs since the fire hydrant. Spend a glorious Sunday, romping, roaming and rummaging around Harmon Field with some of Polk County&squo;s finest pups.
The Any & All Dog Show celebrates the uniqueness and charisma of us pooches with more personality than pedigree. If you&squo;re a pug with panache or hound with high hopes, this is your chance to &dquo;wag it&dquo; like the winner you are. Take a break from all that loyalty and unconditional love stuff. Harmon Field is the great place to roll in the grass and let your tail down.
And just think, Sunday morning when Mom puts you in the car, you can trust that you are not going to the vet to get a shot. Nope. Get as crazy as you want.&bsp; Bark continuously at nothing or at everything. This is your day to shine.
Don&squo;t forget to pack a picnic, &squo;cause there will be prizes for the best &dquo;tail&dquo;gating setup! This contest for the humans starts at 12:30 p.m.
I&squo;m not saying that all dogs get into trouble like I do, but if you do, Father Michael Doty will be giving the blessing of the animals at 1:45. You can even bring that crazy cat with you&ellip; just don&squo;t let the other dogs see her!
The 76th Annual Any & All Dog show will be held Sunday, October 11 at Harmon Field. Registration starts at 1 p.m., with the show beginning at 2 p.m.
So start working on a costume for your dog, give them a bath &squo;cause the rest is up to them!&bsp; The best part is that all entry fees (not fleas!) go to the Foothills Humane Society.
Hope to see you there!
