Ken is survived by his wife of 50 years, Ann, and their two daughters, Coleman Hough and Lee Parr, her husband, Jeremy (son in law), and three grandchildren, Catherine, Christopher and William; also a sister, Patricia Hough Pollard of Columbia, S.C.

Ken was the headmaster of College Preparatory School in Charleston, S.C., from 1968 ‐ 1981. His students, friends, and family knew him as a selfless mentor, a devoted husband and father, and a generous community leader. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the charity of one&squo;s choice.
