Polk County grad joins archaelogical team in France

The research project was led by internationally renowned Anthropologist Soressi of the Max-Planck Institute of Evolutionary Anthropology whose research of Neanderthals has been featured in National Geographic magazine, and on ABC News and PBS.&bsp; Carlson was one of four American college students selected to be on the team that included twelve students from Europe.&bsp; Carlson is majoring in anthropology and history with a minor in archaeology at the College of Charleston.
