The Second Chance Prom, a fundraiser event for Polk County High School varsity cheerleaders, will be held at Tryon Youth Center from 7 p.m. to midnight on Friday, July 24. Organizers say the event is a &uot;night to relive the past&uot; and take your sweetheart back to the prom. Music from all eras will be played. Tickets are available at the high school cafeteria by calling 828-899-0977 or at the door the night of the event.
