&dquo; We&squo;re preparing it to be tried at that time,&dquo; said Hunt.
Miller and Hayes Clark were arrested in September, 2006 for the murder of Jay Clark V, Ida Hayes Clark&squo;s brother. Miller was charged with first degree murder while Hayes Clark was charged with accessory after the fact of first degree murder.
Jay Clark V&squo;s body was found buried beside the home at 200 Possum Trot Lane in Columbus in 2006, but he was thought to have been murdered in January, 2006.
The autopsy showed Clark was shot and then his body was dismembered and burned prior to being buried.
Miller has been in the Polk County Jail since his arrest and as of last week had spent 1,034 days there. Hayes Clark was released on bond shortly after her arrest.
Hunt says because Polk County has only a limited number of superior court allotments, a wait before trial of almost three years is not unusual.
It is not yet known whether Miller and Hayes Clark will both be tried next month.
