Isothermal Community College Polk Campus gained approval to offer an AAS degree in entrepreneurship starting in the spring of 2010, according to Polk County Economic Development Director Kipp McIntyre. The county established in its Economic Development Strategic Plan the goal of working to help develop curriculum classes at ICC Polk. On Wednesday morning the county learned that the state approved the entrepreneur degree program here, whcih will be offered in partnership with Haywood Community College via the NCIH/NCVIP fiber connection.
