The boy was unresponsive when paramedics first arrived, but later regained breathing. He was airlifted to Greenville Memorial Hospital and was stable at the time of airlift but it was unknown how long the child had been without oxygen. Det. Tracy Alridge with the Polk County Sheriff&squo;s Office says the child is now at home, said to be playing and doing fine with his parents in Mill Spring.
According to the sheriff&squo;s office, the car window was down&bsp; when the father arrived home in the car with his child. The father reportedly ran into the house for under a minute and when he returned, the toddler&squo;s head was stuck in the window.
No charges were filed.
