Nancy Lee Sendelbach
She was a WASP aviator (Women Air Force Service Pilots) during WWII, flying almost every type of aircraft used during the war in operational flights from aircraft factories to ports of embarkation and military training bases.
Before moving to Pennsylvania she resided in Tryon with her late husband, Major Norman &dquo;Sandy&dquo; Sendelbach, USAF, ret. She is survived by her daughter, Sara.
Private services with military honors will be held at Arlington National Cemetery, Washington, D.C., where she will be buried with her husband.
