held last week with Judge Alan Thornburg presiding, 98 cases were heard. Some cases were continued or dismissed. The following persons were convicted of a crime:

Angela Denise Cash was convicted of larceny by employee. Cash was sentenced to two years supervised probation, 60 days in jail, 72 hours of community service and $1,661 in restitution.

Anthony Darnell Gary was convicted of attempted first degree burglary. Gary was sentenced to 44 to 66 months at the N.C. Department of Corrections.

Richard Tyler Horne was convicted of two counts of misdemeanor probation violation. Horne&squo;s sentence was activated.

Steve Allen Lockhart was convicted of driving while impaired. Lockhart was sentenced to three months in jail and license revoked for three years.

Jared Phillip Scott was convicted of disorderly conduct and possession of open container/consumption of alcohol in passenger area. Scott was sentenced to six months supervised probation and 72 hours of community service.
