Landrum’s Mullins signs with Voorhees College

Now all that practice has paid off, as Mullins has accepted a scholarship to play for the Lady Tigers of Voorhees College.

&dquo;I remember being out there by myself, practicing hard,&dquo; she said on Tuesday, at a press conference at the high school. &dquo;Finally, I met coach [Fhatj] Anderson, (former Landrum women&squo;s basketball coach), and she had a big impact on my career.&dquo;

&dquo;Kelly&squo;s been playing for me since eighth grade,&dquo; said Anderson. &dquo;She&squo;s a really hard worker. I am very happy for her and her family, and we have great expectations for her.&dquo;

Mullins said she has spoken with the Voorhees coaches and will likely see a lot of time at shooting guard,&bsp; her favorite position.
