The $85,000 funding will be for fiscal year beginning July 1.

The state this year received more than 520 applications for the GCC grant and made awards to 315 programs in 86 counties, five universities and six state agencies. The funding is aimed at helping efforts to stop gangs, fight juvenile delinquency, assist victims of domestic violence and provide updated equipment for law enforcement agencies.
