Ivan Kenneth Ike Wilson

He served in the Royal Canadian Air Force as a navigator and as a flight navigation instructor prior to his career as a computer programmer with Metropolitan Life Insurance Company. He held a degree from John F. Kennedy School of Law in San Francisco, and later owned and operated a real estate company in Greenville, S.C., with his wife, Betty, who preceded him in transition in 1991.
Upon relocation to Tryon with his wife Pat in 1995, Ike became active and was instrumental in Tryon Little Theater, Tryon Arts and Crafts, and as president of National Audio Theater.
His spirit lives on in the hearts of his wife Pat and his children, Sandy Brown, Bill Wilson, Stephen Wilson and Julie Meyerhardt, and seven grandchildren; as well as in the hearts of Pat&squo;s children, Mike, Steve and Eric Hansen, and ten grandchildren.
A gathering to celebrate the life and journey of Ike Wilson will be announced at a later date.
