He was the son of the late Ray and Kathleen Bridgeman Siegfried and husband of JoAnn Lindsey Siegfried. He was a decorated veteran of the Vietnam War, having received the Purple Heart. He was a member of Mountain Valley Baptist Church and had worked at Inman Mills for 29 years.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by a son, Randy Siegfried; three daughters, Connie Drum Drury, Dawn VanTuyle and Laurna Siegfried; five brothers, Henry, Fred, Richard, Rodney and Jerry Siegfried; sister, Sylvia Siegfried; 10 grandchildren and two great grandchildren.

Funeral services were held Wednesday, April 29 at Petty Funeral Chapel, conducted by Rev. Fred Siegfried. Burial will be in Evergreen Memorial Gardens.
