She was the daughter of Charlie and Myrtle Smith Bryant.

Mrs. Collins was formerly an accountant and a member of Grace Baptist Church.

She is survived by her husband, Thomas Allen Collins; son, Jeffery Bryant Collins and wife Teresa of Tryon; step-son, Brian Collins of Campobello; daughters, Lisa Busch of Campobello, Joy C. Belue of Campobello; sister, Helen Lawson of Spartanburg, S.C.; seven grandchildren.

Memorial services were held at 1 p.m. Saturday, May 2, 2009 at Grace Baptist Church in Landrum.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Grace Christian School, P.O. Box 220, Landrum, S.C. 29356.
