The Wolverines provided an early exit when they plated two runs in the bottom of the fifth to push the score to 11-1.

Junior pitcher Brandon Jolley allowed only two hits while striking out six batters in five innings of work. The lone Patriot run was unearned as Jolley improved his record to 5-0.

Offensively, Polk hit three home runs on the night, two of which came from sophomore first baseman Tyler Philpott. Rooster Ross also had a home run and finished with three RBIs.
