Extension Homemakers to host panel discussion April 17 on history of Polk library

On Friday, April 17 at 1 p.m., the Polk County Extension Homemakers Association will host and moderate a panel discussion regarding the history of the Polk County Public Library.

In addition to the members of the Extension Homemakers Association, the panel will also include a representative from the Polk County Historical Society and library personnel. The Extension Homemakers Association was an integral part of the

library since the library&squo;s inception. &bsp;

The panel is part of the library&squo;s week long celebration of National Library Week. Programming will take place in the community room of the PCPL Columbus location. Cookies and punch will be provided. &bsp;
